Yay!!! The fireworks accompanied by fine music are about to start!!! :D
Hey Y’all!
So, I drew this picture of Eleven and Idris/Sexy/the TARDIS in human form. This quote is one of the many from that episode that were just cute and perfect!

Anyway, I thought you might enjoy seeing my rendition of the pair.
Also, happy Independence Day to those of you who also live in the U.S. :D Let the fireworks fly!
I’m back!
Maybe, sorta :[
Hey, guys! Sorry I’ve been away so long. Again, it’s health things. Basically, me getting better requires not being on the computer so much, unfortunately, which means I can’t spend as much time with you!
However, I am going to try to pick things back up again. It will take me a while to catch up and get back into the flow again, so please bear with me.
I haven’t gotten back to my DeviantArt page yet either, and I don’t know when I will, so those of you who interact with me there as well, also please bear with me!
Until I can get back on again and do some stuff, I leave you with a picture of my cat, Chloe, in a peach box.

love,
Katya <3
after the neil gaiman episode, its the only ship that seems sensible :)
Doctor Who’s OTP ~ nuriwan
That’s because the TARDIS is a very sensible ship :D (yay for bad puns!)
I have to say, I really love Rose/Ten, but Doctor/TARDIS is my true OTP :D
I just got around to watching this episode, and I think it may just be my most favorite, EVER!
I love Neil Gaiman SOOOOOOO MUCH!!! You know what, I think I’m gonna watch the episode again right now. And maybe again after that…
I mean, I’ve already been buying things for said child…
…I bought a monkey themed onesie on sale at Target a few weeks (months?) back! Monkeys go with everything! I’ve also been buying children’s books :D That’s big in our family. Whenever my mom, sister, or I go to a baby shower, we are usually the only ones who give books.
Books are important! Studies have shown that the adults who are most literate had more books in their homes as children. Also, parents reading to their child really helps a child learn to read.
I like reading. Reading can take you anywhere.
Sorry for being gone…again…
I’ve been sick…again…
Anyway, while I’ve been off tumblr, I learned that my brother and sister-in-law’s baby is a boy! It amuses me that, though our family is just excited about the baby regardless of the gender, and would have been equally excited if we found out it was a girl, we still celebrate and congratulate my brother and sister-in-law :p I know that’s just the way it’s done, but it’s still a bit silly.
My mindset is basically, YAY! BABY! :D
Also, I’ve been sick with a fever for the past week. It is not fun. But it is why I’ve not been on. Fevers make my head spin, which is not conducive to working with computers. Sorry.
My cat, Chloe, likes to rub in the fact that I’m not as in shape as I’d like to be by kneading her paws on my tummy whenever she deigns to sit on my lap and let me pet her. Thanks, cat. Like I needed my self-esteem shot down by a kitteh.
Yaaaaay my laptop is fixed!!!
I am sooo happy! Unfortunately, my body is not fixed, so my posting will still be erratic. :( But don’t let my woes get you down! Although pain is the physical sensation that dominates my body, joy and love are the emotions that dominate my spirit :D
Alright, no more talk of pain and sickness!
A while ago I was tagged in that chain ask to tell you all ten things about me- I just didn’t get to it at the time what with my computer being out of order and all. But now that I’m back, I can tell you all about my oddities! ~Yaaaaaaaay!~
Here we go:
1. I am a Clarinetist. I have been playing for the past nine years. It is the instrument I feel I was born to play.
2. I love animals- all animals! I have only cats at the moment, but that’s because of my parents’ preferences. I have no reasonable fear of large, dangerous, wild animals, like normal people should. I know in my head that I should fear a lion, and that it isn’t smart to approach one, and yet I know that I would if I had the opportunity. It is one of my life goals to someday pet a lion, and rub his tummy. I plan to start training in veterinary technology next spring.
3. I don’t care about money. I really don’t. When I pass by the Salvation Army people outside Walmart at Christmas time, if I have any money in my wallet, I inevitably give it all away. This happened in high school when student organizations ran fund raisers for charities as well. I buy a lot of things, but they are almost all for other people. I love giving things away to people!
4. I’m very clingy. I am not naturally gifted with social skills, and so am very insecure in social situations- so I cling to whichever friend I’m with who has the best social skills. I don’t do it consciously, it is just a self-protection instinct. This often means that I follow someone around aimlessly for the whole of a party. Yeah, it’s pretty lame.
5. I have a sharp tongue and a short temper. I’ve been working on self control recently and am getting better at not insulting everyone I meet, but it used to be a problem.
6. You know what I said before about being insecure in social situations? I am the opposite of that when I am enmeshed in the world of academia. When my tongue is struggling to keep up with the ideas blooming in my mind, I have no time to think about being awkward in front of people.
7. I’m nineteen and I don’t know how to drive. I don’t even have a permit yet. I have a car, though! Her name is Bessie :D I have already started decorating her with Doctor Who bumper stickers- one of which features the TARDIS and says, “My other car is Dimensionally Transcendental.”
8. The walls of my bedroom are covered with posters, pictures, favorite quotes, comics, and post-it notes. Seriously, there are things EVERYWHERE. I am borderline ADD so I need lots of things to look at and shift my attention to. Having many different sources of visual stimulation often helps keep part of my brain occupied so the rest of it can get down to business and effectively accomplish a task I would not be able to complete in an empty room- my thoughts would be too scattered!
9. I have a clown collection. Yup. Some people are afraid of clowns, but I’m not. I mean yes, actual people being clowns are creepy, but clown figurines I find perfectly harmless. I inherited the collection from my grandmother, because no one else would take it, and have been steadily adding to it. I am like my grandmother in many ways. She was an eclectic woman :D I guess I find the clowns sentimental because this one particular figurine always sat in the window-sill of the dining room at my grandparents’ house. I always greeted that clown when I came to visit. I looked forward to it! My grandmother died when I was six, so I guess the sentimentality never wore off for me.
10. Deep, deep down, I genuinely still want to be a super hero, and still believe I can, despite all my physical disabilities. I want to help people, not be helpless.
That’s all, folks!
:D
Sorry sorry sorry!
I’m so sorry I haven’t been posting! My computer died, about as literally as an electronic device can achieve. It decided a few mornings ago that it wouldn’t turn on. This makes me deeply regret deciding to turn it off. It seems to me as if there is something wrong with the physical components of the computer, and that my hard-drives should not be corrupted- I really hope not! I was right in the middle of backing up all of my files. There is so much left that I do not have anywhere else! rrgh! Anyway, I shall be mostly absent until it is fixed. I am using my parents’ computer right now. This is epically frustrating.
…soooooo, today is a special day….
…It’s the AFV $100,000 episode!!!
hahahaa! That was funny. You probably thought I was going to say, “It’s Mother’s Day!!!”
Ha. I sure fooled you.
But all joking aside, it is Mother’s Day. I’d like to honor all the mothers out there for the hard work they do. It’s a tough job! So here, have some flowers, on me :D
